It has been so hot in Munich the past couple of days & poor Alexandra doesn't quite know what to do, or how to stay awake most of the time. This morning we had some great conversations while changing a diaper. It is amazing how much she has to say when she isn't trying to get a word in between her sister & every one else here...
Plus she has just started smiling a little bit, and her cheeks are looking wonderfully chubby!

The Sophias at play
Sunday morning we had brunch with our friends Blair & Tom & their kids Sophia & Philip to catch up & to hear about their latest news & movement. They were actually in Paris for some of the same time that we were there & have been in Munich since this past fall & are now on their way to London. Such is life in the ex-pat community, you meet people you really like & have a great time for a short, intense period, then you or they are off on the next adventure! However, given our track record, our paths will cross again.
The girls had a great time playing with each other, and it was one of the first times that our Sophia actually played on the teeter-totter without freaking out! They were so cute, and life just moves them along.
