SF: Baker's Beach
We discovered a very different Baker's Beach from Troy's childhood. One more great change made to the city over the last decade was to clean up Baker's Beach, and if you can find a sunny day in San Francisco (which was everyone one while we were there) you have a gem on your hands at the beach. There was lots of frisbees, kites, and hole digging (of all things).
SF: Flying Kites at Chrissy Fields
We went from the Exploritorium to Chrissy Fields, which was recently renovated into a beautiful National park overlooking The Golden Gate Bridge. We missed the sail boats as they entered the bay, but Mary & Cynthia came prepared with kites and all sorts of other games. It may have been Troy's first kite flying experience.
