And More Sun

Finally...the Sun

Dancin in the Dark

Cloudy Days at the Lake

SF: Visiting Yiota & Tom

SF: Baker's Beach

We discovered a very different Baker's Beach from Troy's childhood. One more great change made to the city over the last decade was to clean up Baker's Beach, and if you can find a sunny day in San Francisco (which was everyone one while we were there) you have a gem on your hands at the beach. There was lots of frisbees, kites, and hole digging (of all things).

SF: Hangin at the St. Francis Hotel

SF: More of Chrissy Fileds & Coit Tower

By the time we made it to Coit Tower, which Sophia has wanted to see for some time because it was featured in a Little Einstein's episode, we were wiped out from the day of activites. We could only retreat back to our hotel, knowing that we no longer had the energy we once had before kids. :o)

SF: Flying Kites at Chrissy Fields

We went from the Exploritorium to Chrissy Fields, which was recently renovated into a beautiful National park overlooking The Golden Gate Bridge. We missed the sail boats as they entered the bay, but Mary & Cynthia came prepared with kites and all sorts of other games. It may have been Troy's first kite flying experience.

SF: A Day at the Exploritorium

We had a packed schedule in San Francisco, and kicked off our visit with a a run at one of Troy's childhood haunts - the Exploritorium, which is the hands-on science center. We met up with cousins Mary & Cynthia, and friends Michael and his kids Julia and Paul, and had a blast.
