Arles

One of the great things about exploring by market, is just the experience of the market of the day. The market in Arles is definitely a "working" market, very much influenced by the proximity to Africa & the Mediterranean Sea. The smells were overwhelming, and constant. The market really catered to locals, and had stalls that had the daily catch, right out of the sea - or close to it...

Then we were off to the Arles Coliseum, more tablecloth shopping, and a great lunch in the square that used to be the Roman Circus.
