Rain in Provence?

yes, for the second trip to Provence in a row, we entered foul weather territory - but it is supposed to get better over the rest of the trip. Today was pretty bad, and so the amazing market in Isle sur la Sorgue, was just ok. Good stuff, but not as visually impressive as last time.

Luckily we found a family run Creperie that was so sweet & was run by the nicest people. At the end of our meal, the owner's father offered to give Troy & Dad a lift back to the car park so that us ladies didn't have to get so wet. I think they were given a free tour of town on the way...

The we decided to go for a walk in the hills behind the estate, in the rain, and ended up having to do a bit of bush whacking to get back without walking another hour in the downpour. Trail maps are a pretty good idea when you don't know where you are or where you are going...

The weather report for the rest of the week is much better!
